Join us for our FIRST EVER!!! Poets Cookout. We're calling on our Poets, Singers, Musicians, and Comedians to showcase your talent, we want the best of the best. Final check-in to perform is at 1:30pm. (Main-stream rap is not accepted in any performance)

About the event
This is your opportunity to try out that material you've been working on all year. We want all of our local new and upcoming Poets, Singers, Musicians, and Comedians to come rock the mic with us. Your favorite Poet host; DaTruthDaPoet will be back entertaining and introducing you to some of Baltimore's best performers. Food and Drinks are available for sale on-site, everyone must have a ticket for entry.

You must bring your own folding chairs as this event is outside. Tents are permitted in the back and along the sides only. There will be multiple food vendors on site with refreshments. Additional vendors will be selling a variety of food and drink products. Please support them in their growth.

Gen. Performer's ticket
This doesn't guarantee you a chance to perform it only enters you in the performer's raffle. Performers will be notified on Friday August 30th at Noon if they have been selected for opening acts. You still have to check-in the day of, by 2:00pm (in-person) to get your performer's slot otherwise your slot will be forfeited to another performer. All performers are limited to one piece 5 minutes
